Bradstow Mill Charity Fun Day:

The Bradstow Mill in Broadstairs held a fun day in memory of brave Alfie.
Landlord Alan Clarke planned a BBQ, with children's entertainer 'Milo' and face painting. Adults enjoyed live music with pub favourites 'Blow', booked for the evening and 'DJ Ickee'. on from 7.30pm till late. There was also a free buffet and prizes for the best fancy dressed 'punter'.

Alan said: "It was originally going to be my housewarming party but when I heard about the appeal I knew we had to do something to help. "I know Tracey, Alfie's auntie who runs the Hotel DeVille pub, and I'm a family man myself, so reading about Alfie gave me a real lump in my throat."
