Bouncy Ben:
Raised £200.00 - July 2010
Benjamin Burn of Ramsgate was inspired to get on to his trampoline, after seeing a poster at his nursery about two-year-old Alfie Gough's plight.
At this time, Alfie's family were trying to raise £300,000 to pay for treatment abroad, including potentially lifesaving "cyberknife" treatment in Turkey.
Benjamin performed 90 bounces on his trampoline.
Benjamin's mum Lisa Burn, a paediatrician for NHS East Kent, said: "When I picked Benjamin up from school he saw a picture of Alfie and asked what it was about.
"I told Benjamin a little boy was sick and people were raising money for his treatment. He said 'I could bounce on my trampoline and raise money for Alfie'."
